The Relationship Between RMB's Exchange Rate and Regional Industrial Structure
基于1995-2009年30个省份的面板数据，将区域分为东中西三部分，研究发现人民币升值有利于中国产业升级，且影响因区域而异，为产业结构政策提供参考。
In open economy,exchange rate is an important factor which affects industrial structure.Based on the panel data from 30 provincial areas in 1995-2009,and classifying the areas into eastern,central and western areas according to regional difference,this article investigates the relationship between exchange rate of RMB and industrial structure.Results show that the appreciation of RMB is favorable to Chinese industrial upgrading,and the effects are diverse between different regional areas.This conclusion provides some suggestions for industrial structure policy making.
