STUDY ON WORLD CITY NETWORK THEORY WITHIN GLOBAL SPACE OF FLOW
批判了传统世界城市等级体系研究，提出以关系视角和流动空间理论替代结构视角和场所空间，强调城市间联系与合作，推动城市研究范式转变。
The development of contemporary world city network(CWCN) based on the critique to research of world city,world city hierarchy system and global city.CWCN theory emphasized on inter-city relation,surmounted the limit of empirical data of traditional urban studies,broke through the monopoly of hierarchy sense in inter-city relation,and highlighted the importance of connection and cooperation among cities.CWCN theory adopted the need of inter-city relation in economic globalization era,replaced structure perspective with relational perspective to propel the transformation of urban study paradigm,replaced place space with flow space as theoretical basis of inter-city research,replaced central place theory with central flow theory to explain the dynamics of world city network formation,and promoted the theoretical innovation of inter-city research.On the basis of the carding above mentioned,the paper suggested some references and inspirations for related studies on the transformation of inter-city relation,urban studies perspectives,urban policies and urban functions.
