Capital Mechanism in the Changing Process from the Moral Peasant Economy to the Rational Peasant Economy:Theoretical Hypothesis and Empirical Results
针对中国农村信贷和金融制度研究中理性小农理论与道义小农经济的争论，本文提出资本机制是两者动态转换的核心，并构建理论模型和实证分析，说明在资本与金融机制互动下，道义小农可能转变为理性小农。
In recent years,there are increasing arguments between the rational peasant theory and the moral economy of the peasant concerning the explanations of rural credit and rural financial institutions in China.This paper points out that the theoretical distinction between the rational and the moral economy of the peasant ignores their dynamic conversion mechanism and the proper explanation of small-scale peasant economy needs a continuous perspective.Based on theoretical model and empirical analysis,this paper provides a new framework in which capital mechanism plays a central in the changing process from the moral peasant economy to the rational peasant economy and further argues that under the dynamic interactions between the capital mechanism and the financial mechanism,moral peasants have the chance to become rational peasants.
