分析了湖南林业生产的自然条件、森林特点及存在问题，研究了分类经营的重要性及主要措施，重点探讨了生态公益林和商品林的划定与建设。
This paper analyzed the natural conditions of forestry production, the characteristics of the forest and existing problems in Hunan. It also studied the importance of classifying management of forestry in Hunan and the chief measure of classifying management. It emphatically explored the delimitation and the construction of ecological public good forest and commodity forest.
