Study on city and town system of Piang liang District
研究了平凉地区城镇的等级、规模、结构、职能和布局，指出存在规模小、数量少、结构不合理等问题，并提出了以平凉为中心城市扩大规模、带动周边小城镇发展的具体建议。
After examining the grade, scale, structure, founction and layout of cities and towns in Pingliang area, the paper identifies some problems lie in the system as smaller scale, relatively less in number and mal structure. Furthermore, it puts forword suggestions on concrete measures to enhance the development of cities and towns in the area including making full use of the advantage of Pingliang as a central city by enlarging its scale and cater for surrounding small city development. At present, much attention should be paid on development of some important towships that may lead to harmoney develpment in the whole area.
