AGING OF CLASSIC GARDEN IN CITY—CONCEPT MODEL AND CASE STUDY
研究了城市古典园林因游客减少而失去主要休闲目的地地位的现象，分析了其功能老化的原因，包括游客行为深度增强、亲近自然的选择以及人们对文化背景的陌生。
With decreasing of the number of visits, the classic gardens in city have gradually lost first rank status as main recreational destination of residents. This article discusses the concept, the phenomena and the causes of aging of original function of classic gardens in city. It reveals that causes of the aging of original function of classic gardens in city lies in the changes of people's recreational motive. It also elucidates aging of original function of classic gardens in city from three points including the enhancement of the behavioral depth of tourist activities, the choice of setting foot in nature which tourists make, and the unawaring of and unfamiliarity on the cultural background of classic gardens in city for people especially the young generation. Moreover, it analyzes the differences between aging of original function of classic gardens in city and the concept of a tourist area cycle of evolution.
