STUDY ON SEA ISLAND BASED ON LOCAL RESIDENTS' PERCEPTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT AND DEVELOPMENT——A CASE OF DONGSHAN ISLAND
以东山岛为例，通过问卷调查和访谈了解当地居民对海岛环境与发展的看法，发现居民关注但认知不确定，需加强能力建设和环境教育以促进可持续发展。
The paper takes Dongshan Island as a case,applying field observation,on-the-spot questionnaires survey,interview to investigate the local residents' perception of islands' environment and development.The result of investigation shows some useful information: local residents pay more attention to island environment and development,however their perception of the environment and development has been uncertain,therefore continuing efforts in capacity-building,environmental education,economical methods aim to provide the local community with the knowledge and skills that are necessary for making appropriate choices for the preservation and development of Dongshan Island and the surrounding ecosystems;on the other hand the local ecological environment and social development are serious and local government should encourage island-based economic activity and people-centered development,looking for Pursuit of aid and remittances.
