ANALYSIS ON THE ENVIRONMENTAL EFFECTS OF FDI IN HUNAN PROVINCE
分析了湖南省外商直接投资与环境污染的关系，实证检验了FDI的环境效应，发现FDI存量带来的经济规模扩张和结构变化的环境效应为负，技术转移的环境效应也为负，总体环境效应为负。
In this paper, we make an analysis on the relationship between the FDI and the environmental pollution of Hunan province, and we make an empirical test of the existence of environmental effects of FDI in Hunan province too, on this basis, we learn from the analysis methods of JIE HE, and carry out a comprehensive analysis of environmental effects of FDI in Hunan province. The results show that the change of the emission of Hunan province is not the Granger cause of the change of FDI, but foreign direct investment has some impacts on the environmental quality of Hunan province at a certain level. And the environmental effects which brought about by the expansion of the economic scale and the structural changes of economic which induced by the stock of FDI are negative, while the environmental effects which brought about by the transfer of technology that induced by the stock of FDI are negative, but the over all environmental effects of the stock of FDI is negative.
