Abstract

Although upgrading catering industrial competitiveness is attached significance by government recently study on catering industrial competitiveness is still in its descriptive stage. This paper,based on the factor analysis and clustering analysis, attempts the empirical researches on Chinese regional catering industrial competitiveness. As a result,this paper demonstrates that regional catering industrial competitiveness is driven by three factors namely: demanding factors, productive factors, sustaining factors;and there are five driving patterns of regional catering industrial competitiveness,namely:integration driving,demand driving,sustaining diving scale driving, non-advantage driving. This study is of theoretical instructive significance in upgrading the competitiveness of regional catering industry.
