A RESEARCH ON POPULATION URBANIZATION MODE OF THE LESS DEVELOPED AREAS——TAKING MEIZHOU AS AN EXAMPLE
以梅州为例，分析了欠发达地区人口城镇化模式，发现其受政府和市场双重影响，劳动力大量外流并在发达地区实现城镇化，这种不完善的模式深刻影响了当地经济发展。
The weak economy and the low level of the industry in the less developed areas cause its urbanization in a mid-weak and weak stage.The labor force and the local population are so hard to migrate in the local place that they go to other cities to develop.Hence,the less developed areas become the source of the labor force which flows away to the developed areas.The paper gives an example-Meizhou and analyzes its mode characteristic of population urbanization in terms of guiding,motivation,space and goal.The research shows that the population urbanization in less developed areas is influenced by the government and the market.The large number of surplus labor and non-residue labor is the motivation of the population urbanization in less developed areas,whose mode of the population urbanization is that the labor briskly moves to other places to develop and then be urbanized.People's being urbanization in other cities,which is an imperfect mode of population,has affected the economic development of the less developed areas deeply.As a result,the less developed area's population urbanization's being developed in other cities has great significance.
