There big economic regions have been out of balance of economic development under the influence of state policy and objective conditions since our country's reform and opening-up. The aim of this article is to explain the reasons why our regional economic development becomes unbalance through the analysis of the present situation of our country's economy development. Then put forward concrete measures on how to narrow the gap of the economic development between the middle-west region and the east coastal region while author taking national conditions into consideration.
