FEATURES AND FUTURE OF SHANGHAI'S MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL PRODUCT EXPORT INDUSTRY
研究了上海机电产品出口产业的特征，指出其规模扩张快、竞争力提升，但计算机和集成电路产业依赖加工出口、汽车和船舶产业出口率低，前景不容乐观，需采取措施实现可持续发展。
For more than one decade, mechanical and electrical products have been the most important export of China. And in this field, Shanghai ranks the first of all the cities in China. Shanghai's mechanical and electrical industry has a long history and rich legacy in equipment and technology. Recent years,it has been noted for its rapid expansion in scale,its quick improvement in competitive capability in international markets. But at the same time,Shanghai's computer industry and IC industry too much relying on processing export,and the low export rate of automobile industry and ship industry makes the future of Shanghai’s mechanical and electrical industry seems a bit gloomy. So some measures must be taken to make its development sustainable.
