Ningbo-Zhoushan Port locates at the middle position of China's coast line,forming a horn situation with Shanghai Port.This paper analyses the hinterland demarcation between Lianyungang Port,Shanghai Port,Ningbo-Zhoushan Port and Fuzhou port by the least transportation cost method.According to the characters of Ningbo-Zhoushan Port and its hinterland,this paper puts forward,for the long-run benefit of the port,to enhance the port related industries' development,establish and enlarge the bulk commodity trading market and strengthen inland-port construction to expand the hinterland.
