THE EFFECTS OF ARABLE LAND MARGINALIZATION ON SOCIETY ECONOMY AND ENVIRONMENT——A CASE STUDY OF TONGCHENG COUNTY HUBEI PROVINCE
基于湖北通城县的统计数据和685户农户调查，研究了耕地边际化对社会、经济和环境的影响，发现其会降低耕地收入和种植业产值，但可能增加农民二三产业收入并促进边际土地退出农业。
Arable land marginalization is a course of natural land becoming marginal land because of its low throughput,and it can be scaled by its net income,intensity degree and planting area.Basing on the statistical data and 685 farmer field survey data collected from the case study of Tongcheng county(a hilly county in Hubei province),this paper have studied the effects of arable land marginalization on society economy and environment by regression.The result showed: arable land marginalization would cause some outcome,such as: reduce arable land use income,reduce production value of the sowing industry.At the same time,arable land marginalization maybe increase famers income from the second and third industry,and it can promote marginal land retreating from agricultural use.
