A city,besides its numerous houses and buildings,also contains complex and exquisite humanity and sociality.The function of it is both practical and aesthetic.Unfortunately,during the period of past century,urban has become more and more suitable for production and commodity circulation rather than for living.Can Modern people still enjoy the poetic and leisure life in urban? The proposal of building up the ideal city for living lights up the way of modern urban construction.The following paper tries to analysis briefly the humanity connotation of the ideal residence in the hope that it will be of some positive value to the urban planning and its construction as well.
