Empirical Study on Efficienty of Provincial Public Spending on Urban Environment Protection in China
基于省级数据，实证分析城市环境保护公共支出的效率及其影响因素，为缓解公共资金短缺提供政策建议。
Continuing urban environment pollution constrains cities′ future sustainable and healthy development.Urban environment has its own public goods feature,which calls for government intervening with substantial public spending.Therefore improvement of spending efficiency could be a critical option for public fund shortage problem.The paper analyses public spending efficiency on urban environment based on provincial data and empirically tests exogenous factors affecting the efficiency,then proposes policy recommendations for improving public spending efficiency of urban environment protection.
