As a newly-developed and cross-subjects field,marine economic geography combines the basic subjects and subordinate theories,such as geography,economics,resource science,environment logy,bionomics,management science,etc.This field is still in the early stage of development,without forming a relatively clear theoretical framework and research context.Based on the current related research findings and science process,this article aims to make clear of marine economic geography and to conclude the development of this field systematically.Moreover,it gives an consideration of the research focus and scientific development trend in 12 Five-Year Plan in order to push the development of marine economics.
