Abstract

Taking Wulingyuan and Huanglong cave scenic spots as the research object, based on the daily tourist flow of two scenic spots in 2009-2010 statistical data, by using the theory of the core-edge and build the relationship between changes in tourist flow and the core scenic area and edge mechanism conceptual model, and USES the layered method, the time could be divided into five years tourist flow change time scale, the system analyzes the tourist flow cause of invertedUand its forming mechanism, the results found that:(1) Characteristics of daily tourist flow showing similarities, there are 3 obvious inverse U curves. From Monday to Sunday the tourist flow of Huanglong cave vary with the Wulingyuan's changes, both have better synchronization, and present a clear case of inverse U curve.(2) The tourist flow changes by week present same ups and downs fluctuation trend.(3) The tourist flow changes by ten days showing understandable correlation characteristics.(4) The tourist flow changes by month are irregularly, the rest of months appear to same increase and decrease trend except particular months.(5) The tourist flow changes by season present a steady growth, the trend constantly pan to the upper right and then move to bottom left. The formation mechanism of inverse U structure involve factors, which are tourism resources different, climate change, holidays, spatial agglomeration, spatial diffusion, synergistic effect, scenic spot management and ownership separation, spatial distance.
