RESEARCH ON URBAN INTEGRATION AND COORDINATED DEVELOPMENT OF LANZHOU AND XINING
研究了兰州与西宁作为西部最近省会城市，在历史联系、经济依存和空间扩展推动下，通过跨区域协调、基建和环境优化实现整合发展的路径。
Since 1990s,integration and synergy have become the mainstream of urban interrelation.Lanzhou and Xining are the nearest provincial capitals in the western regions.They lie in a relatively intact regional economic unit,have deep historical culture accumulation and close social economic links,which have offered advantage for their integration development.Meanwhile,objective demand of urban agglomerations for development and competition,interdependence in regional economy development and expansion of urban spatial in opposite directions,have offered essential impetus for integration development.Furthermore,setting up trans-regional harmonizing organization,building high-efficient infrastructure,constructing favorable environment,adjusting industrial structure and optimizing regional urban system are efficient approaches to make them integrate and develop eventually.
