ANALYSIS ON THE FOREIGN TRADE DEVELOPMENT DIFFERENCE AMONG CHINESE PROVINCES
用泰尔指数和基尼系数分解1978-2005年中国各省外贸差异，发现东中西三大区域差异和制成品贸易差异是主因，为缩小区域外贸差距提供参考。
This paper first pictures the evolvement of China's provincial foreign trade development difference from 1978 to 2005, then uses Theil index and Gini index to analyze the regional structure and industry structure of the total difference. The result is that difference among the east, the middle and the west areas takes up great importance in the total; and from the viewpoint of industry, difference on the foreign trade of finished products is the most component. Accordingly, this paper points out that in order to reach the target of harmonious development of foreign trade in China, we should emphatically reduce the difference among the three areas, especially the difference on the foreign trade of finished products among areas.
