Twin Cities:Spatial Reconstruction of Tianjin,toward Economic Centre of North China
分析了天津滨海新区纳入国家战略后城市总体规划的空间框架，提出双城战略以促进老城区与滨海新区的良性互动与健康发展。
Since the 1990s,developing new urban area has gradually become an important tool to city government to enhance competitiveness and promote industrialization and urbanization.Tianjin is a representative city which gains city and regional development driven by the development of Binhai New Area.This paper analysis the spatial framework of the master plan of Tianjin in the context that Binhai New Area has been integrated into national development strategies,and then proposes the Twin-cities strategy,to acheive a positve interaction and healthy development for both the old city and Binhai New Area.
