In Asian modern decentralized space governance background,twin city development as important type of cross-border cooperation already acts as research hotspot worldwide.The paper firstly makes review of cross-border cooperation research in European,Northern American and East Asian.Based on spatial economy theory,Sassen’sPush-Pull Effectmodel as research method,the paper analyses the driving force,path and influential element of Shenzhen-Hong Kong twin city.The research result shows that Shenzhen-Hong Kong twin city development trend is in transition and conforms to regional development demand
