SPATIAL-TEMPORAL EVOLUTION OF RURAL ECONOMY IN HENAN PROVINCE
基于河南省2109个乡镇中35个村庄的数据，分析了乡村经济的空间特征、发展阶段及其与当地社会经济环境的关系，发现靠近城市或县城的村庄经济发展机会更多，且非农收入与农民收入正相关。
Village-level economy is a critical issue for China and other developing countries.For Chinese,there are about two-thirds of populations living in rural areas.The village level economic growth has close relationships with the living standard of rural residents and the social development in rural area.Based on discussions of the literatures on rural development,we define the Connotations of village-level economy and explain the data selected.Having analyzed the data including 35 village level data among 2 109 towns in Henan province,the paper arrives at three conclusions: Firstly,the village level economy in Henan province shows different spatial character: Less developed rural area,which takes up great importance in the total,has notable difference and be dispersed over the inner of the developed area.The area of higher-level economy development concentrates at the middle and north part of Henan Province.The lower level area surrounds the higher-level area.From the perspectives of geography,villages with location advantages,such as near city or county,have more chances for their economic development and the core-periphery economic structure has been presented in the pattern of rural development.Secondly,according the principle of spatial-temporal transition,we define five phases of village-level economy,i.e.to be poor,to dress warmly and eat one's fill,to try enrich(to disengage poverty),to be well-off and to be affluent.In addition,the paper points out the character of development and distribution.Thirdly,the variation of village level economy in Henan Province has a close relationship with the local social and economic environment.The average annual net incomes of rural household have a strong positive correlation with the income from local non-agriculture industry.The village level industry plays an important role in the course of local economy development.The more people engage in agriculture,the slower speed of economic development is.The factors such as transportation,terrain and the former economic foundation have a great influence on the development degree and its change of the village level economy.
