Capitalist and urban social change——Perspective of Neo-Marxist urban theory
本文从新马克思主义城市理论视角，分析资本主义制度的内在矛盾如何影响和决定城市社会发展，揭示资本积累、循环和劳动力再生产等运作逻辑，对城市社会学理论发展有贡献。
Ever since 1960s, with the appearance of urban crisis in the capitalist countries, the western Marxists have found new urban problem. Being a kind of theoretic explanation, the Neo-Marxist Urban Theory believes that cities are submitted to a larger system in modern capitalist society, thus cities should be recognized under the theoretic framework of the capitalist mode of production. The capitalist system contains inner basic contradiction which influences and determines the development of capitalist urban society while the connection of urban changes reflects and adjusts the basic contradiction, as is related to such capitalist operation as the capital accumulation、circulation、reproduction of labor and so on. It tries to reveal the operational logic of capitalism. The Neo-Marxist Urban Theory has greatly developed and innovated the Marxism and made huge contribution to the development of theories of urban sociology.
