The Feasibility of the Implementation of New Town Planning:From the Perspective of Local Public Finance

To change the model of urban sprawl in large city,it is very important to implement a reasonable strategy of new town planning.In Taiyuan master planning(2007-2020),we want to change the existing urban sprwal model through the comprehensive new town development in south of Taiyuan based on integration of Taiyuan and Yuci,relying on the existing infrastructure of Yuci.The paper studies the scale of investment of new town of Taiyuan,the future revenue potential and financing trends,the local fiscal expenditure and its potential supporting for new town development,and studies the feasibility and sensitivity of the new town development of Taiyuan.
