The Impact of Shanghai Port on Its Hinterland Economy: Based on the Re-Built Harbor Industrial Sector Input-Output Model
通过改造港口投入产出表，将港口业务分为五类，分析其对直接腹地经济的直接和间接影响，并以上海港为例进行实证，发现运输和港口运输服务贡献最大。
Through the transformation of the harbor input-output tables, the business activities of a harbor can be divided into port construction, port transportation, transportation services, shipping services and harbor industry under government control. After an input- output analysis, a clear indication of the direct and indirect effects of a harbor's different business activities to direct hinterland's economy can be seen, in order to calculate the sum of the direct economic contribution share to seaport hinterland, then take Shanghai port for empirical analysis. The results show that the harbor has great role in promoting the direct hinterland's economic development, in all business activities, transport and harbor transport services are the largest contribution proportional and absolute value; followed harbor shipping services; minimum of harbor construction, because Shanghai construction has entered a stable construction phase.
