Residents participate in housing-environment construction is inevitability and very important,and in multiple and extensive way.This article sums up some modes including interactive design of housing,leaving room for their own creative design,a ready “menu” for selection,involving residents in the survey of present living pattern,architecture criticism and voting for best models etc.Then it gives some examples of foreign countries to cite residents participation in housing environmental construction helped the achievement of sound living circumstances.The author hopes that this would lead more discussion and debate in the future and a better living environment would be secured through proper residents participating in housing-environment construction.
