分析了关中—天水经济区的区域特征和比较优势，通过对比中国中西部五大城市群，设计了该经济区城市群的发展路径，包括西咸一体化、完善层级结构、构建现代交通体系等。
Urban agglomeration is an important carrier of the national economy,it is an important indicator to measure the socio-economic development level of a country or a region.This article analyzes the regional characteristics and comparative advantages of Guanzhong-Tianshui economic zone,by a comparative study of five major city groups in mid-west China,under the background of the forming-up of China's new economic landscape。 In the end,it designs the development approach of urban agglomeration:to speed up the integration of Xi'an--Xianyang,to improve the hierarchical structure of urban agglomeration;to weaken the boundaries of administrative divisions,to construct a modernized three-dimensional transport system;to build advantageous industrial base,to advocate low-carbon development of the city;to make well the city's business card,to pay attention to eco-environment and to attract talented people actively.
