Logistics cost management level not only reflects the operation and management of an enterprise,but also serves an important indicator of a country's economic development.This paper compares China and US logistics costs in the recent decade adopting the proportion of logistics cost tand GDP which is an internally approved critirion to judge logistics cost management level.Finally this paper proposes some measures China can take to improve the level of logistics cost management.
