The Geography of the Pillar Manufacturing Industry in China
利用1993-2008年数据，计算各制造业对经济增长的贡献，发现电子信息、钢铁、化工和汽车是四大支柱产业，并分析其空间变化，揭示从遍地开花到区域集聚的转变。
After 30 years of reform and opening up,China's manufacturing development has made great achievements and the process of industrialization has been significantly speeded up.At the same time,the geography of manufacturing in China has changed a lot.Using the data from 1993 to 2008,the paper calculated the contribution of each manufacturing industry to economic growth and found that electronics and information manufacturing industry,steel industry,chemical industry and automobile industry are the top four.With the detailed analysis of the spatial changes of these four industries,the common transition from spring up all over the place to agglomerate in several regions could be found.
