Assessment of Social Vulnerability to Natural Disasters in the Midwest of China
从脆弱群体、社会与社保脆弱性、人口脆弱性三方面构建评价体系，基于2000-2011年数据，用投影寻踪聚类分析中国中部地区自然灾害社会脆弱性的空间格局与区域差异。
Through projection pursuit—factor analysis, a social vulnerability evaluation index system is developed based on three aspects—vulnerable groups, society and social security vulnerability, population vulnerability. Then the empirical study is carried out based on 2000-2011 data of the Midwest of China, used projection pursuit clustering method. Based on this, the paper analyzes spatial patterns and regional differences of those three aspects, and makes comprehensive evaluation of social vulnerability to natural disasters.
