Port logistics industry in Yangtze River Delta has a significant leading role in promoting regional economic growth and job creation.This paper involves a study of exploring the system construction of logistics service outsourcing at an international port metropolitan level.Development approaches of services outsourcing throughout the port logistics supply chain,principal operating modes of port logistics industry and development strategies in Yangtze River Delta region are discussed using a DRCO-Diamond model.This research has a positive impact and practical significance to promote the rapid development of port logistics outsourcing,to expand the opening up of modern service industry,to increase employment opportunities,to upgrade the port logistics industry,and to realize inclusive growth in Yangtze River Delta region.
