Abstract

General housing, economical housing and underlet housing constitute supply system of urban housing market in China. Based on the real estate development statistical data of 30 major cities, this paper chooses absorption rate as judging market equilibrium indicator and does some research on the structure difference of urban housing market with fixed-effect variable intercept model. A strong correlation between economical housing market and common housing market is demonstrated in this paper. We also find that the economical housing subsidized by governments has a typical regional feature. Because the economical housing supply has an impact on the whole housing market, local government should use the indicator system of housing market to design the urban economical housing policy.
