Study on Cities' Economy Growth Factors Based on Scale Economy in China
使用Cobb-Douglas城市总量生产函数，分析规模经济对中国283个地级以上城市经济增长的影响，发现城市整体处于规模报酬递增阶段，但不同区域和规模的城市规模弹性不同，产业结构对经济增长影响最大。
The economy of China has been growing at high speed since the Reform and Opening Policy.For a country or a city,the continuous growth of output can be realized by two ways:increasing input of production factors and technical progress.This paper analyzes the affection of scale economy to the economic growth of China,using Cubb-Douglas urban aggregate production function.Considering the effect diversity caused by locating in different economic region and different urban scale,they divided the 283 cities at prefecture level or above into six economic regions and three scale categories respectively.The result shows that the cities overall are at the stage of increasing returns to scale,but cities in different regions and different scale categories have different scale elasticity.On this basis,they construct a model integrating four generalized technological progress factors to analyze the affection to cities.They also find that the industrial structure has the greatest effect on economic growth,and then the scientific and technological level.
