Human being has had a tremendous impact on natural ecosystem. We should pay more attention to the interaction betweenhuman system and environmental system. Today, sustainable development is becoming an influential ideal over the world.Minqin County is taken as a case to be studied. The paper pointed out the causes related to unsustainable development in theCounty. Whilst production has been increased in Minqin, its environmental factors show negative trends: deserification is occurring,salinity is serious and underground water reserves are being depleted. Therefore, it is uncertain that this productivity can bemaintained in a long term. In order to adjust the development of agriculture, this paper put forward the steps to solve these negativetrends.
