The “Beautiful China” Evaluation System Based on Niche Theory
基于生态位理论构建了美丽中国评价模型，包含3个子系统、9个因素层和35个指标，并以湖南省2002-2012年数据验证，发现东部地区生态位宽度大于中西部，变化趋势先增后减。
Supported by SPSS17.0 and EXCEL2007 software platform, used the principal component analysis, based on niche theory, from the analysis of the concept and structure of beautiful China niche, it build systematically the evaluation model of beautiful China niche、niche breadth and niche space differentiation, and carried out empirical research in all cities of Hunan province from 2002 to 2012 as an example. The results show that: the model of beautiful China evaluation system based on niche theory is more systematic than the others; it was constituted by three subsystem layers, nine factor layers and 35 index layers. The beautiful China niche and niche breadth of Hunan Province have spatial differences. It in eastern region is larger than in central and western regions. The characteristics of the changing trend increased at first and then decreased. Protecting the ecological environment and developing ecological economy is the best choice of building beautiful China.
