THE REGULATING FUNCTION OF LAND PRICE LEVERAGE IN CITY MANAGEMENT--CASE STUDY IN NANJING CITY
通过分析1998-1999年南京土地竞标活动，探讨地价杠杆在城市管理中的调节作用，说明政府可利用地价机制促进城市经济发展。
This paper draws into the city management in China so as to stress the function of land price leverage. To show the importance of the land price, this paper uses a synthesis model adopting the new standards of comparative analysis to examine the land bid activity during 1998-1999 in Nanjing and its outcome. The result shows that the land price leverage plays a special role in the city management, on the one hand, and that the urban government may fully use the land price mechanism to promote urban economy development.
