Water and soil conservation and administration is a strategic project of southwest district exploration in China, no mat-ter whether from the point of view of project essential or methodology. By the analysis of the current situation of water and soileroding and existing problems in conservation and administration in Honghe district of Yunnan province, general strategy proposaland practical measurements on southwest district water and soil conservation are put forward.
