Study on the Difference of Economic Development Level Among Different Entities in CAFTA
使用变异系数和主成分分析测量CAFTA各经济体在多个指标上的差异，发现经济规模、产业结构、外资吸引力等存在显著差异，且综合发展水平差异在近几十年未缩小。
Mathematical statistics method is used to measure the Coefficients of Variation(CV) of various indicators mentioned above among various entities in CAFTA every year,and then PCA(Principal Component Analysis) is used to calculate the synthetical level of development of every entity and its Coefficient of Variation among various entities every year.The result shows the economic scales,industrial structures,the attraction for foreign capital and home capital accumultating ability,the degree of the export and import-oriented economy,the synthetical level of development are remarkably different from one entity to the other in CAFTA.What,s more,the χ2 test is used to test the tendency of the difference of the synthetical level of development among various entities in CAFTA.It shows that the difference of the synthetical level of development among various entities in CAFTA does not narrow in the past prior decades,that is,the difference of economic development is there in long-term.Therefore,as one partner in CAFTA,it is necessary for China to play a role in drawing up and carrying out the institutional arrangement of CAFTA to cancel the doubt and resistance because of the difference of economic development during pushing the development of CAFTA.
