QUANTITATIVE RESEARCHES ON THE LIFE CYCLE OF KARST-CAVE TOURIST AREAS——A CASE STUDY OF YAOLIN CAVE
基于瑶琳洞历年游客量数据,定量分析了喀斯特洞穴旅游区的生命周期特征,发现其直接进入发展阶段并在3-4年后达到峰值,随后直接进入衰退期,最后趋于稳定,并提出了开发管理建议。
Based on the yearly number of tourists visiting Yaolin Cave in the past years,and combined with the data of other domestic Karst-caves, this paper quantitatively discussed the characteristics of the life cycle of Karst-cave tourist areas. It was found that the life cycle of Karst-cave tourist areas have the following characteristics:①After being developed, they were going to enter the development stage directly. The yearly number of tourists would reach the maximum after 3~4 years of opening.②From then on, they directly entered the decline stage, without experiencing a growth stage and a stagnation stage.③After a period of quick decline, the annual number of tourists tended to stabilize. At last, some factors affecting the life cycle of Karst-cave tourist areas were analyzed, and some suggestions about the development and management of Karst-cave tourist areas were put forward.
