OPTIMIZATION OF SPATIAL ORGANIZATION IN DONGTING LAKE REGION
研究了洞庭湖区采用点轴开发模式，通过建设中心城市、合并行政区、发展县城和扩大城镇来构建增长极体系，并沿交通线开发轴线形成W形空间格局，最终推动防洪减灾、区域管理和市场的一体化。
The spot-axis developing model should be applied in Dongting lake region. The growth pole system will be developed by means of the construction of the central cities, the mergence of Jinshi city and Lixian county, the development of the county towns and the enlargement of the small towns. On the basis of the growth pole system, the axes along the main traffic line will be exploited, so it will form the spatial developing pattern of W shape. In the long-term view, the many identities in the lake region lay the objective foundation of the economic integration, therefore it will stride towards the integration of preventing flood and reducing disasters, the integration of regional management and the integration of regional market.
