SCALE AND ECONOMIC GEOGRAPHY INQUIRY
梳理了地理学探究中尺度的概念与类型，强调尺度在经济地理学中的关键作用，并指出中国应加强微观尺度研究以补充宏观传统。
This paper delineates concept and types of scales used in geography inquiry, and stresses the important role of scale in economic geography. The scale in economic geography was found at micro-type in the early stage, evolving through macro-level in a period, to combination of micro and macro levels as well as close scrutiny for the macro level topics. As for the case of China, while the tradition of macro-level studies is been continuously carrying on, the micro-level studies should be developed with greater strength.
