INVESTIGATION AND ANALYSIS OF MIGRANT WORKERS' WILLINGNESS TO SETTLE DOWN IN THE WORKING CITY:THE CASE OF CHANGSHA COUNTY IN HUNAN PROVINCE
基于湖南长沙县160份问卷和访谈数据，分析了农民工在工作城市定居的意愿及影响因素，发现多数人愿意定居但实际定居者少，受学历、职业、收入、社保等影响。
In China,industrialization and urbanization are the important contents of socialist modernization construction,and the migrant workers' transformation from farmers into citizens is an inevitable trend.Basing on the investigation data,160 valid questionnaire assisted by structured interview with migrant workers in Changsha county of Hunan province,this paper analyzes the migrant workers' willingness to settle down in the working city and its influential factors.The outcomes indicated that most migrant workers are willing to settle down in the working city,but only a few migrant workers finally settled down,due to the influential factors such as education level,type of occupation,working and living satisfaction degree,rural housing,income level,policy and social security,and so on.The authors argue that migrant workers' settling down in the working city cannot be smoothly achieved,without the government's paying more attention to solving the worries of migrant workers who are willing to settle down in the working city in the aspects of social security and corresponding policies.
