How to identify housing security objects is one important work to build housing security system.Based on international experiences and the fact of our country, the thesis identifies housing security objects by means of statistical grouping and reversing with consumption income ratio and price income ratio.The study conclusion is that housing security objects include lowest-income family,low-income family and sub-middle family,the housing security ratio is 40%.The lowest-income family and the low-income family resolve the housing problem with rent subsidy,the sub-middle income family can choose freely between buying subsidy and rent subsidy.
