The researches have noticed that the spatial proximity is important to regional industry development and innovation. This article argues that the researches of cluster and regional innovation in foreign country have the majority of six themes: the formation and development of industrial clusters, the knowledge spill-over and regional innovation, local learning capacity and innovative infrastructure, innovative spin-off and diffusion, the building of regional innovation system and innovative polices, and regional innovation and regional competition sustainability.
