Research on Housing Affordability:2000—2008 Evidence from 10 Chinese Cities
利用中国10个大城市的房价指数和家庭收入数据，分析了2000—2008年居民的住房可负担性，发现南京、武汉等城市比北京、上海等城市更易负担，并提出了政策建议。
This paper utilized Chinese real estate house price index and family income data of 10 Chinese big cities to analyze the housing affordability of their citizens,annual data from 2000—2008 was involved.The results indicate that house prices of sample cities are quite a burden for their citizens,while average income families from Nanjing,Wuhan,Shenzhen,Chengdu and Chongqing can enjoy better housing affordability than those from Beijing,Tianjin,Shanghai,Guangzhou and Hanzhou.Some policy suggestions were also provided.
