The Formatting Mechanism of Tourism Cluster Based on CAS Thoery —Taking Mice Tourism Cluster in Guangzhou as a Case

It is important to study tourism cluster that could develop service industry,increase competitiveness,and progress our country's industrial structure.The paper tries to study the process of MICE tourism cluster and formatting mechanism in Guangzhou based on CAS theory.The study found: firstly,MICE tourism cluster in Guangzhou belonged to a complex adaptive system so that interaction between adaptive agents and between the adaptive agent and the environment pushed this industrial cluster from simple to complex,from a lower to a higher form of organization evolution.Secondly,the evolutional of MICE tourism cluster in Guangzhou was the process of self-organization and selfadaptation.Its evolution included the pregnant stage,the meta-agents stage and the emergence stage.Although government external force leaded to MICE tourism cluster near Liuhua convention center in Guangzhou,adaptive and competition and cooperation promoted development and progress of MICE tourism cluster.
