URBAN EXPAND AND DRIVING FACTORS IN THE RECENT 20 YEARS IN CASE OF HUHHOT CITY
利用1987、1997、2006年遥感数据分析呼和浩特市城市扩张，发现建设用地显著增加，耕地是主要来源，驱动因素包括自然地理、人口增长、开发区建设和交通条件。
This paper,the study area is within Huhhot Ring Expressway.TM and UTM remote sensing data of 1987,1997,2006a were used to study urban expand in Huhhot by 3S technology.The results show that: urban construction land expand significantly in Huhhot from 1987 to 2006a,farmland is a major source of the urban expand.Grassland,discarded land,water body which reduced mainly converted to farmland and urban construction land.Land use change is significant and in developing period.Driving factor can be summarized as natural geography factor and urban population increase,development zone construction,traffic condition,etc.
