METROPOLITAN AREA:THE ONLY WAY OF INTEGRATION FOR CHANG-ZHU-TAN AREA
分析了长株潭地区一体化发展的最新形势和现存问题，探讨了中国都市圈的概念和指标，划定了长株潭都市圈的范围，并提出了进一步发展的对策。
The competition of contemporary city has not only been the competition among individual city,but among the city area or the city groups taking key city as the core.Metropolitan Area is the product of urbanization development in higher stage and also basic unit of globalization division,cooperation and competition.This paper firstly analyses the newest situation and present problems of Chang-Zhu-Tan area integration development,then discusses the concept and index of Metropolitan Area in China and divides the scope of Chang-Zhu-Tan Metropolitan Area.At last some countermeasures of furthering Chang-Zhu-Tan Metropolitan Area development is put forward.
