THE ANALYSIS OF INFLUENCING FACTORS OF VEGETABLES' SOWN AREA IN CHINA
以农户为对象，利用1994-2007年主产省面板数据，分析蔬菜播种面积的经济影响因素，发现相对比较收益、非农就业变化和上期决策显著正向影响面积，政策需考虑长期效应。
The purpose of this paper is to analyze the economic influencing factors and mechanism of vegetables sown areas in China.The paper takes the farmer households as object and employs the panel data to study the influencing factors of vegetables sown areas in the main vegetable production provinces of China for the period 1994-2007.The results show that the vegetables sown areas are significant positively influenced by the relative comparative revenues between vegetable and other crops,a great change of non-farm employment level in local region and the vegetable production decision-making of farmer households in the previous year.The study results reveal that since the choices of the vegetable production decision-making of farmer households are a long-term cycle process and the lagged effect of previous production decision-making,the implementation of policies should be taken account into the long-term effects,other than be overly concerned on the current short-term effects.
